-You will be really impressed that you could find this little program called MS Access to MySQL which is one of only few on the internet that can convert your existing MDB (Microsoft Access Database) that can work only on windows servers to a widely accepted standard format of databases which is called MYSQL ready for integration and installation on almost any web server.
-This small program has an easy to use and good looking wizard that will do the whole job in just 4 steps :-
Step 1 : Choose an existing MDB file from your computer and enter the database password if it's password protected.
Step 2 : Enter your MYSQL login information and database name , or you can otherwise choose the MDB to be converted to a MYSQL dump file that can be distributed later.
Step 3 : Choose which tables and fields that you want to convert.
Step 4 : Just click Run Now and you will be done.
- The most exciting unique feature of this program is the command line interface support which enables you to run batch conversions using an external settings file that you specify to the program to use without the need for user interaction.
